BOYS SCHOOL SOCKS
Recently we have created a sock that will forever change the face of boys school wear by applying the stay up technology design from our team wear into our boy's school sock. It does not change the overall look of the sock but it does give you a built in gaiter that is different to a traditional garter. A graduated elastic band of around 3 inches in length is placed just above the turnover to give you a comfortable hold far less restrictive than a garter. This will mean that a student can never lose a garter or pay for one for that matter as it is built into the product.
Along with our commitment to making boys school socks better, we use 21.4 - 24-micron merino wool in all our wool based products has all these properties.

SOCK MAKERS MERINO
The secret to Sock Makers Ltd Merino wool's softness is it is fine but not too fine so it lasts longer but still feels soft. The Merino fibres are extremely fine, enabling them to bend far more than traditional, coarser wool fibres. This makes Merino wool feel soft and luxuriously gentle next to your skin.

Sock Makers Pre Washes and Drys the school socks, so there is no first wash shrinkage. It also makes the sock machine washable and dryable.
Because Merino wool can absorb moisture vapour, it tends not to create static electricity, helping it to drape beautifully and be less likely to cling uncomfortably to your body than other fabrics.
Smells are a thing of the past with Sock Makers Merino Wool. In contrast to synthetics, Merino wool can absorb moisture vapour which means less sweat on your body. Merino wool even absorbs the odours from sweat, which are then released during washing.

Our Merino wool garments can now be machine-washed and tumble dried.
Our Merino wool is flame retardant and doesn't melt or stick to the skin.
Merino wool is much better at protecting you from UV radiation than most synthetics and cotton.

Above is a concept designed for Kingsway School designed and made using colours of their sports uniform. We used our on court sock design to cover sports like netball,basketball,indoor football, volleyball, tennis, badminton, squash or athletics. It uses our Fit 5 system which provides an exception fit and support for court sports.
The scope of the design work is only limited by elements that are for performance and we have been able to do intricate designs for socks to really make there sports uniform work over all sports.
